Business Closure Notice
After years of proudly serving our customers in the crane and heavy equipment industry, American Crane & Equipment Sales permanently closed its doors in 2014.
The business was founded and built by Leon Gramling, alongside his wife Linda Gramling and their son, Kevin Chatham. Together, they grew American Crane & Equipment Sales into a trusted name in the industry — built on hard work, integrity, and a commitment to their customers.
Following Leon's passing, the family made the difficult decision to close the business. While the equipment no longer moves and the office lights have long since gone dark, the legacy of what was built here lives on.
This page is dedicated to Leon Gramling — a husband, father, grandfather, and entrepreneur who poured his heart into building something meaningful. American Crane & Equipment Sales was more than a business; it was a reflection of Leon's character — strong, dependable, and built to last.
His work ethic, vision, and dedication to his family and his craft will never be forgotten. The cranes may have stopped turning, but the foundation he laid remains.
